Yes. From 1/2″ to several inches having the proper hem length puts your best foot forward and actually extends the life of your jeans by not having them drag on the ground. This is also very helpful for those who are on the shorter side of average who cannot find a good length off the rack in stores…like ME! Yes, “light” tailoring like sleeves or taking in sides. Mens pants no problem. Completely reconstructing a suit jacket or sizing up is not something I am willing to tackle and you are better off going to St Louis to someone like Nordstroms, Macy’s, Mens Warehouse or the like. Of course! Sometimes it is the best way to make sure the fit is accurate. Also bring the shoes you are planning on wearing with that particular pair of pants or dress. The heel size does matter when you are wanting the best length.
Many times alterations, depending on how extensive, can be done in a relatively short amount of time. However, there will be a an additional cost for these jobs.
